As the State of Florida continues to be under a Stay at Home mandate, single-family construction remains essential and is not subject to this mandate. Because of this, construction is continuing, but procedures and protocols have been put into place to ensure the safety of all involved in building and buying these homes. Gulfstream Homes is restricting work on all its home sites to one vendor at a time with the Field Managers scheduling the subcontractors accordingly. While onsite, the Gulfstream team is asking all subcontractors to wear protective masks if possible and if available. Field Managers are also available via mobile phone; however, in-person meetings are being discontinued until further notice. If a Gulfstream team member is present with a client onsite, both parties are requested to wear protective masks if possible.
Gulfstream Homes (www.gulfstreamhomes.com) is also rolling out a new virtual way for clients to set up meetings and tour their homes under construction from the comforts of their homes. Through Skype and FaceTime, as well as phone calls and distance-in-person consultations, clients are able to schedule sales and contract appointments with the Gulfstream team. This will help to reduce the risk of spreading the virus, yet will help clients and prospective clients to be able to continue on with their home project.
